Description

The Thumbis were the result of a day off with a little muse and a good mood.

I wanted to create a picture with three dinosaurs, that radiate a simple disposition, friendliness and cuteness.

They were supposed to reflect what our rabbits were very good at at the time, namely turning everything in our flat upside down and destroying it, in an alienated analogy.

I didn't really see it as a big project at the time. But the Thumbis grew and grew....

They now have their own section on this website.

A Thumbi is nothing more than a small stylised prehistoric animal. They are clumsy, approx. 12cm small, i.e. the size of a hand, creatures with a thirst for adventure and a keen interest in sweets.

They live in their finder's terrarium and chronically break out of there to discover his home in their own way :-)
